Sutter Urgent Care

My husband and myself went into Sutter Health Urgent Care last Saturday around 7:30 pm. The receptionist was kind and pleasant with our wait less than 30 minutes. The two nurses that assisted were also pleasant and caring. The doctor was great! Because I had a cat bit with my arm red and swollen with two red lines going up it she was quite concerned about a possible infection. She said I needed IV antibiotics immediately due to a possible infection and recommended I go to Emergency which I did.

I had to go to Sutter Urgent Care and I highly recommend it. It was fast check-in with to no time waiting as I was called in for pre check on vitals. I saw soon saw the Doctor, and was out the door. Thanks to all the staff there for a smooth visit!

Hate that we have to go, but appreciate Sutter’s urgent care every time! We love to use the MHO urgent care feature to make our experience a breeze. Dr Mateen has helped us the last 2 visits & has been very quick & caring for our son, and gives us extra tips for our daughter just to make sure she’s good as well

On Wednesday, October 8, 2025, I sought medical attention due to severe pain in my right shoulder. The clinic was not particularly busy at the time. Approximately ten minutes after checking in, I was called back to triage, where a medical assistant recorded my vital signs, and a Nurse Practitioner conducted an initial assessment. I was then returned to the waiting area and subsequently called into a consultation room five minutes later, where I was examined by Dr. Jackson, the Urgent Care physician on duty. Dr. Jackson evaluated my right shoulder and ordered an X-ray. Although I expressed a desire to have an ultrasound, it was unavailable until two days later. FYI, this Urgent Care is BAD - somehow these Dr.s manage to make things worse physically & mentally. Sent me out in tears, without a remedy. 2x. 1. Elder woman Dr. was aggressive and refused to help, (after I waited patiently in her office for45 mins to see her) She was short, crass and visibly put off by questions relating my illness and suggested procedure. I was nervous and curious, she was progressively agitated - Instead of having a conversation, she was defensive and exploded on me and her nursing staff. Talk down to all of us. She made me feel so much worse being in her office. (All of the Nurses rolled eyes about it, clearly it isn’t her first time with this attitude). It was sad & horrible. TODAY, I went in with congestion in my head & nose. I’ve been blowing my nose like crazy
