I’m so appreciative for SPCA and the support they give and provide for some of us less fortunate in the financial dept. but still have love and care and attention for our pets. I’m able to let my babies enjoy the outdoors and not have to worry if they’re going to become pregnant or lost while being in their natural habitat. Thanks guys!!

Katherine and Laurie have been so great with onboarding my new addition. They have communicated and assisted in such an efficient manner and I am so thankful for all of their help. I have had nothing but positive interactions for the year I’ve been coming here and it helps that my dog walks in and is greeting with such love that there isn’t even a chance for him to have the stereotypical fear of vets. Love this place and so thankful my new baby will be going here as well!

The staff here is amazing! They take the best care of my cats! I'm so grateful for all the kindness and love they've shown them. I recently had a very tough time with my senior cat that we had just brought inside. He was feral most of his life and had a lot of issues but they really did everything possible for him and were so kind and good to us through all of it. I'm on disability and needed to find a place who could work with people who needed more affordable vet services. They really have made sure that my guys get everything that they need to be happy and healthy. I have been taking my cats there for 7 years now and would never want to take them anywhere else after seeing how much they truly care about their patients. I really cannot say enough good things about them!

I got my cat here 7 years ago. It's been my experience that quality of care has gone down. Prices have gone up. It's also become very difficult to get a hold of them. They don't take voicemails outside hours and their hours are unpredictable, not always matching what's online. During my last visit my concerns were dismissed without discussion. My cat was handled roughly with no consideration for her comfort. They blamed her temperament and prescribed sedatives when she hissed at them for it. This is atypical behavior for her. The experience has weighed heavily on my heart. I've decided to find a "fear free" vet in the hopes they will better accommodate behavior to give my cat a better experience. The staff and veterinarys are top notch. I've been takig my dog there for 14-years and never experinced a less than pleasent encounter. The fees they charge are far less then any place else. I HIGHLY recomend Susan M Markel Veterinary Hospital.
