Sunrise Animal Hospital

I've been using Dr Rose as my vet for over two and a half decades. I followed him from Levittown to Rockville Center. My dog was very sick and I brought her into the local animal hospital when he was throwing up. They wanted to do $800 worth of testing. I called Dr Rose he said pack him up and bring him straight to me. He immediately knew what was wrong with him.He is compassionate, loving and an amazing veterinarian!

These are truly some of the kindest and most caring people you’ll ever meet! Dr. Sandra Popa came highly recommended by a friend, and I now understand why. Despite being fully booked for the day, they managed to squeeze us in the same day (at 5pm!) when my grandma’s senior cat started straining in the litter box and peeing a little blood. The front desk here was so compassionate and accommodating - they understood it was urgent, while all other vets told us the earliest they could get us in was the next morning. Dr. Popa was beyond amazing and patient. She took her time to ask questions, go over the medical history, and explain everything clearly without ever rushing. She was a patient at your hospital from the time she was a puppy, and over the years you treated her with kindness, professionalism, and genuine concern. When she became ill at the age of eleven, I am deeply grateful for the effort, dedication, and love you showed while trying to save her. Today 10/2/25 was my first time coming here. Staff were really nice. I even called and checked in as I know Milo is very active. I was told he was doing really good. He did require sedation and received a call to get my permission. Kimberly was the groomer and she did an amazing job. My family was happy as well and said he smells so good. Price is reasonable as I thought it would be more money. Will use again for sure.

My 10-year-old pup was dealing with some serious dental issues, and I originally went to another animal hospital that made me feel completely judged and quoted me an insane price (around $3,000) for a tooth extraction. They were also pretty unorganized, which left me feeling even more stressed. Sunrise Animal Hospital was recommended to me, and I’m so glad I decided to go. From the start, the staff was kind, patient, and really helped calm my nerves. They walked me through everything, were transparent about costs, and their prices were significantly more reasonable than what I was quoted elsewhere.
