Sun River Health Bedford Avenue

I find this practice to be very disorganized. Often I’ll come here and I’ll be told the doctor I’m seeing isn’t even in that day. Or my doctor will tell me I need lab work, I’ll make an appointment to have it done, then I’ll show up and the folx working behind the desk have no idea what I’m talking about. I’ll also be seeing certain practitioners, develop a nice relationship with them, and then find out the next appointment that they’re no longer with the practice. The only reason why I give it any stars at all is because I find the customer service to be excellent. The people working behind the desk seem to know that this place is a mess, without saying it, but they always go above and beyond to do what they need to do to make sure Im taken care of. This place is beautiful and I am very happy to be able to share and recommend it for people who want to have a good visit because it is a clean and pleasant place.

I called to make an emergency appointment stating I have an infection and in pain. I was told I would receive a call back within 24-48 hrs to schedule and a note was put in for an emergency appointment. I received a call 3 weeks later to schedule and when I questioned them why it took so long, they stated they are overbooked. If you’re not accepting patients or overbooked, maybe let the patient know so they can look elsewhere and not suffer???

I go to Sun River’s 2351 Bedford Avenue location now and it is the same front office staffers that were previously at the other location across the street from the college. I find the front office staff to be unprofessional, rowdy and generally disrespectful. As I sat in the waiting area an hour past my scheduled appointment time, I had no choice but to have to hear the reception staff members yelling, laughing, cursing at times and basically behaving like rowdy teenagers. Whenever I call this location for assistance it is the same thing, my ears are forced to listen to yelling and laughter in background as I desperately try to hear myself speak as I attempt to explain why I’m calling. Nicest staff! I recommend to anyone who might have not felt comfortable with other mental health professionals. Both Ewa and Alessandra were incredibly compassionate and knowledgeable. They listened, made valid statements regarding my assessments and I throughly enjoyed meeting with both of them.
