Summit Health Urgent Care – Old Mill District

Outstanding service. I have never been that sick in my life and the staff immediately jumped into action. I encountered a staff of all men and as a female patient, I was surprisingly treated with dignity and respect. Each staff member supported me through the process of testing, x rays, IV support, and home care instructions. Bed side manners were excellent and I felt cared for each step of the way. I highly recommend this location for urgent care services and treatment.

My visit to the Summit Health Urgent Care was great. They listened to me and took care of me quickly.

I checked in on Saturday was met by 2 lovely receptionists, their names escape me sadly. They both were very friendly and made the check in process seemless. The wait time was very short, 5 minutes top. RN-Jake took me to the room and went over my symptoms. What stood out the most was that Jake asked additional questions to make sure things weren't worse than what they seemed. He also provided insight into what I was going through as he had went through a similar issue. Christian Morch, PA, was very attentive and provided a thorough check-up, narrowing where my issue was originating. He provided great advice in how I could resolve the issue with out using the prescribed prescriptions he sent. The after visit summary included the exercises he suggested. I went in with extreme back and groin pain and was treated by Dr. Clemens like I was both an idiot, and not really a cause for concern. She “suggested” we do imaging in case it was a kidney stone, but with a tone that was gaslighting. When I decided not to do those scans, largely because of her dismissive nature, she then gave me a prescription for prednisone and a refer to a PT. I called the PT and they don’t take my insurance. While it may not be the doctor’s responsibility in general to refer to a practitioner that takes the patient’s insurance, I have never seen this with Medicaid, which I have. She had no attention to detail and clearly couldn’t wait for me to get out of there. She also had a badge on her scrubs that said “I’m not the Nurse.” While I understand that sexism creates an
