The physical therapy treatments at FOCUS Physical Therapy have significantly improved my overall health. I am moving now without the discomfort that I have been experiencing and getting back to the physical health that I have been accustomed to for years. I'm a skier, whitewater kayaker, and gym rat. Issues with mid-back and hip tension stopped me from performing compound movements at the gym, like squats and deadlifts, for over six years. After working with multiple physical therapists, John Center is the first one to successfully work with me to achieve a return to the movements I love doing at the gym. In addition, my back issues are much better managed and mitigated when I do the outdoor sports that I love. I can enjoy all my sports with more confidence now while pushing myself hard. I had a chance to see Burke for a bike fit and it made a huge difference! We were able to make a few adjustments that helped reduce hamstring pain, prevent my heels from rubbing my cranks and frame, and improve my power with a more efficient pedal stroke. He also provided a detailed report and a set of transferable measurements that I can apply to all of my bikes.
