The first day, I didn't quite know what to expect. I spent the first six weeks engaging in personal development. I had at first thought that I would be missing out on time that I could be earning, but as it turned out...I didn't have a direction. Now, I am headed in a far better direction. I have worth and a purpose:) Thank you... I would recommend it... Update: class 4 graduated tonight...I was in class 1

The experience that I had in class 3 The Trailblazers was fantastic. The ladies are there because they truly care and want to give back. I am from the older generation and did not know what to expect but learned a lot from the school. The Ali's are also something special, they are just people from the community who want to give back even if it is just to be your cheering section. My advice is to go in with an open mind and the craving to learn and make a better place for yourself in life. Thank you Summit Career Center of Stevensville for everything.

What a tremendous and fulfilling experience I have had being involved with Summit. A place filled with people that are selfless, community centered, and committed to helping others better themselves. The first class is just wrapping up and the growth that I've seen in the students since last Fall has been nothing short of amazing. 6 people that had little confidence, and even less direction, have gained years worth of both and are leaving with direction and purpose as they embark on their new careers. Whether you are looking to get involved as a leader or an ally it will be time well spent, a great return on your investment!!

I was selected to be an Ally (mentor) for the first class of students. This has been an honor and a privilege to help guide these students on their journey helping them with a wholesome life style and good work ethics. I am very proud that all of the students that have stuck with the program have succeeded. I believe the poverty rate in Ravalli County is 40%. This program is privately funded with no government assistance of which I am very pleased. The next class of students I feel will be larger and so on. Given a 5 year period this will make a real impact on the poor in our community. My hat is off to Myla Yahraus and her staff for an incredible job and I cannot wait to start guiding the next class of students. The staff members truly care, and provide one-on-one coaching and encouragement, along with quality curriculum and weekly "family gathering" dinners to help the students ("Leaders") succeed. A wonderful organization!
