For six months, the pharmacist at Summerton Drugs has repeatedly failed to process the required override for my autistic son’s insurance-covered medication — causing lapses of days or weeks despite full coverage. He has stated directly that he alone is authorized to submit the override, yet each month he declines to complete it, responding instead with, ‘welcome to insurance,’ while the medication remains unfilled. This is not a misunderstanding. It is a documented pattern of refusal to perform a standard professional duty. And when a pharmacist’s inaction causes a disabled patient to be deprived of medically necessary treatment, it raises serious legal concerns — including issues related to ADA accommodation failures, continuity-of-care obligations, and pharmacy professional standards.

The staff is excellent to work with, they are happy to help with every need and answer any questions I have. They are always kind and curious on the phone as well. The store has a great selection of medical supplies to meet your every need and has a good selection of other items as well such as clothes and other items. Wonderful pharmacy staff to work with, I highly recommend!

So many amazing people. They greet you by name even remember what medication your on. Ask to make sure you have everything you need to be healthy. They recommend OTC medicine not for profit but bc they now it works well. If there was a six star option I would have given them one.
