The staff for labs is ALWAYS kind; cheerful and +++ I hardly feel the needle. Also pre-c/i is same very friendly.

Staff is amazing!! So nice to you especially when you’re nervous for a procedure. I’ve had nothing but great experience with the building and I go there every two months. When they are busy you end up waiting a long time because they have a registration room then you go to the lab and wait to be seen then. (Not their fault) but Better to go early then in the afternoon.

The staff was fairly nice so that's the only reason I'm giving 3 stars. However, I don't understand why you need to take your orders to reception to "register", then sit in a waiting area for upwards of a half an hour to be pulled back into the actual registration, then placed back in the waiting area for another half hour to 45 minutes, before FINALLY starting a basic blood order! I was there for what was supposed to be 2 hour testing but due to all of the waiting I was there for nearly 4 hours total that day...Even people with basic orders had to go about the same waiting process for a draw that lasts maybe 5 minutes 🤦‍♀️

**** Update: 6 days later: Changing the rating to a one star. Sitting here, in registration #2, waiting to get 1 lab drawn. WAITING WAITING AND MORE WAITING. I know you need to capture reimbursement, but this process is a waste of resources and punitive to the patient. FIRST REVIEW- ARCH St- you need to register at the front desk, then wait an absurd amount of time to register again, then re- register at your destination. No such thing as STAT anything! The ER is also the worst healthcare experience I've ever had. Summa is a broken system, practically the only game in town, and the City of Akron deserves better. Spent almost 40 minutes watching people come in after I did and almost immediately they were registered and getting their labs. I was there for simple blood work but walked out after being ignored for so long. Save your time and energy and go anywhere else.
