Summa Health Green Urgent Care

Took my son in for a sports physical and everyone was very welcoming and fun. The girls at the window were amazing and the male nurse was super nice. They started with the eye exam and my son failed the left eye. Chris, the nurse practitioner, came out with an attitude immediately and zero introduction stating she already failed him for his physical with out taking us to a room and did it in the middle of the patient triage area. I explained to her he obviously wears glasses and has never failed a sports physical. The girls up front questioned the distance he had to stand back as it seemed too far. Not a great experience. The front desk staff was very kind and so was the nurse that took me back. The wait was expected as the flu is rampant right now. After my 1.5 hour wait, I was taken back and explained to the nurse that I was getting over the flu, but had started having some chest pain. I had received a “home remedy” from a family member and made sure to tell them about it since I wasn’t sure if that was worsening my pain (I explained how I was embarrassed as I didn’t realize until after taking it, it was not a recommended remedy). Went in for UTI Symptoms. Registration was very fast, went right in to give urine sample. Saw MD, not a PA OR CNP. Assessment done, vitals etc., medicine sent to pharmacy. Doctor listened and I felt she genuinely cared. Was in and out in no time. Don’t let the amount of cars parked outside make you think they’re packed. Would definitely use again. Went to CVS minute clinic in Green last week, waited 49 minutes. Had to leave for another appointment. I was not seen. NP had a patient in her office the entire time. I did not think I needed 2 hours at a minute clinic.

Christine Cannell, APRN - CNP Is by far the rudest most inconsiderate worker I’ve ever encountered from summa health. Telling a patient to leave the office as she opens the door because we didn’t agree on something is craziness. Who gave this lady a job?! I won’t go into too much detail but just google her name or read the other reviews on this place. Go find some manners woman!!

Great polite staff- they saw me for the flu on New Year’s Day. They checked me in swiftly and were very informative, they took the time to answer all of my questions. Highly recommend green urgent care if your in a pinch!
