MEDICAL CANNABIS USERS (yes they sell actual cannabis here, ignore the incorrect reviews) you were probably like me & waiting for a medical dispensary to open in the area, only to end up frustrated that there are still NONE- meaning you're stuck with taxes. i came in after finding out they will remove the tax for medical- and ive been to many locations that offer a range of med discounts between 20-30%, which still doesnt cover some of tax for higher THC users. the staff was knowledgeable (Brian helped me) & i was able to try out some new strains. I got (2) 3.5g flower, a free joint for first timer & i also picked up a disposable. the first flower I tried was a blockberryx crossover strain & immediate headache, sleepy feeling & i felt off. Great customer service. We love the atmosphere and quality keeps us coming back from farther away. They also have a military discount on full price which my husband appreciates but they always have great sales going on in general.

Sugarleaf in McHenry is my absolute go-to for everything cannabis and hemp related. I’ve known the owner, Dominick, since 8th grade. Back then he was funny, loyal, a genuinely good person – and probably the shortest guy in our class – and he carried that same energy all the way through high school and into adulthood. I’m very picky when it comes to the product that I like and they convince me to try new stuff every time I’m in there.
