Suburban Woods Health & Rehabilitation Center

Suburban Woods wasn't my first physical therapy rehabilitation center but it was the best I've been to. Patrick and the kitchen staff cook phenomenal nutritious food. Amber.. D.. T and the therapy team are knowledgeable experts who had me back up and walking again in no time. Amirah and the nursing team are on top of everything. The social work team kept me informed and made my stay as smooth as possible. And Elijah.. Bryana.. Bree.. and the rest of the core staff are the engine that keeps the train running efficiently. The activities available are also great. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone looking for a health and rehabilitation center.

The staff here took excellent care of my stepfather in his final days. They made sure he had food he could/would actually eat, were kind and communicative, had him participating in activities until he wasn't able to any longer. The staff there treated my family like their own and gave my mother peace of mind that he was being well looked after when she couldn't be there.

The staff is very helpful ,, kind and always pleasant. My Neice has Huntingtons desease and this was one of the only places that would take her. Shame on all of the other places. This place is 45 mins from my home but is worth the ride so far.I hope that my Neice is getting everything she needs while I’m not there but, I think they are very accommodating.

Never able to have any one awnser the main number. I have called for days at a time. Got lucky two times in ten months. The one time someone picked up at the main number and she apparently could not speak English. I did not understand a word she said. The only other time I got a English speaking woman on the main number , I asked to be trasfered to the nurse's station on my family members floor because he does not have a phone in his room due to dementia. The receptionist transfered me and it rang and rang so long it went back to the main number. When I told the lady it was me and they would not pick up the phone she could tell I was upset because I had to speak to the nurse's station to get to talk to the family member I wanted. My father recently stayed at Suburban Woods following a hospitalization. The staff was incredible. I was not sure what to expect and both my father and family felt supported throughout his stay. We had a number of unique requests and the staff treated us like partners, not patients. We had a plan and thanks to the amazing staff, Anne Marie, Vinette, Chrissy, and others, the plan was executed and my father was well cared for in a timely way. It felt great to see this level of kindness and attention during a challenging time for our family. Thank you!!!
