Stuarts Draft Family Pharmacy

I have been using this pharmacy for awhile now. I have never had a bad experience and everyone has always been kind. My prescriptions are always filled in a timely manner and if I have questions they are always happy to help. I love supporting our local small business and quite a few of their over the counter products are cheaper than anywhere else.

Was hoping this would be my forever pharmacy after my pharmacy shut down, and the nightmare I had to go through with Walgreens but unfortunately no. I talked to them before I did anything, they said they could take my husband and son no problem. Well when my husband’s doctor sent the prescription in they wouldn’t take it, and when my son’s doctor sent in his prescription they don’t deal with his medication at all. After having to deal with 3 different pharmacies in 3 months after ours shut down I’m finally relieved I found a good pharmacy at the Staunton Walmart but it’s been a big head ache along the way.

I meant to leave this review a few weeks back, but then life happened. Lol. This place is awesome. The pharmacist is very compassionate. He once did my mother a favor that touched me deeply. It was so kind! He knows what he did... and that's all I'll say about it. He earned my business, but I live about an hour away. So, for me, please patronize his business!!!! He deserves every bit of what he gets in life. Trust me. A heart of gold, he has. Jon Ballard

They always have my prescriptions ready the same day they are sent in. They are super friendly and helpful. I never have any issues. So glad to use this pharmacy and be away from the big chain pharmacies like CVS and Walgreens which never had my prescriptions in stock or ready the same day.

You need to fire your pharmacist Megan! I’ve been going to Stuarts Draft Family Pharmacy since we moved here in 2018. I accept that they are a small town pharmacy and often don’t have, have to order, or can’t get some of my prescriptions and I’m always flexible despite the inconvenience. However, today when the pharmacist Megan refused to fill a prescription for one of my long-standing medications and told me I needed to “tell my doctor that he needed to write another one for a lower dose” I could not believe what I was hearing. This is a medication I’ve been on for seven years. This is the same dose I have historically been on. This is not a narcotic medication, it’s used for my MS.
