He received one star because no stars was not an option. They shouldn't be called family dentistry, because he is not good with children at all! Parents BEWARE and especially parents with children with any disability. We took our 6 yr old autistic child to see him. Before his first appointment we explained the entire situation to the doctor and staff. We told him he was autistic. They said they were able to help and so we made our first appointment. We explained that he is sensitive to sounds and taste. Well during the cleaning I asked for flavorless polish and they ended up using cherry or bubble gum flavored polish instead. Since 1996, Dr. Chavis has been my dentist. My husband also switched to him. What I appreciate most is that Dr. Chavis takes the time to educate, not simply treat and run to the next patient.

I first seen dr chavis about 20 years ago and have seen him ever since. Wonderful man & excellent staff! The other day after not seeing the Dr in a while i was able to make a quick convenient appt his staff had him call me back as i had a question within five min. Wonderful place esp if you have some fear of the dentist like myself. Highly recommended

Dr. Chavis is a wonderful dentist. He’s very sweet and is great at what he does. I’ve been going to him for years and I’ll never switch!
