Stratford Villa Post-Acute

I am wholeheartedly sharing a very positive review of Stratford Villa Post-Acute in Livermore.. Recently I spent a few weeks there following a medical procedure, a G-tube placement, that required follow-up care. The facility itself is lovely. The rooms are very good sized and the decor overall is contemporary and aesthetically pleasing. For 27 beds it’s a large building with a multitude of windows. It’s kept consistently and impeccably clean which makes all the spaces bright and cheerful. The director and office administration staff was outstanding - sincerely committed, highly knowledgeable and capable, and all the other levels of staff care and maintenance was excellent. Everyone really was genuinely friendly and caring. I have other chronic medical issues that sometimes got in the way

Though spending time at a post-acute facility is never fun, I highly recommend Stratford Villa for it's excellent patient care. My mother spent almost a month there and I helped her choose this placement after a terrible stay in a Pleasanton facility. We found the staff to be compassionate and professional. The small size of the facility accommodated more personalized care. The administrators were truly interested in hearing patient/family feedback, communicating regularly with family members, and resolving any problems. I was impressed with the nursing staff's patience and friendly attitude, particularly because of the demanding nature of the profession. Many of the staff went above and beyond to be helpful and accommodate the needs of the patient. The only issue was difficulty sometimes

The Stratford Villa Post Acute facility is an excellent care center. The staff is compassionate and caring with all the residents. During the last few months, the Director, Isabel has made every effort to keep families informed on what is happening at both facilities. The communication is open and excellent. They have taken every precaution to keep both staff and residents safe during this pandemic. She purchased ipads for communication between family members and staff. It gives me peace of mind to know that my family member is being taken care of in such a professional, caring manner.

Worst place ever. If you don’t care what happens to your family member, take them here! The staff do not want anyone better. They lie with a smile. They told me at least 5 times that they would help get my brother his Retirement benefits when he would complain to me that they ignore him. Not once did they talk to him about it even though he personally requested help as well. Long story short, I went to Reno Nv for Xmas and NEw Years. I called my brother to say I was stopping by to visit first. He replied Don’t bother because my stomach is building up with fluids again and they said they would take me to hospital. I told them that they told me to always avoid hospital transport from facility because it’s not covered. He said they just told him they would. I then hung up the phone

Our family has had a very nice experience with Stratford Villa. The staff members are hard working, professional, and truly have hearts for serving the elderly. I've witnessed nothing but kindness and respect for my father and other residents during his stay. The facility is new and is kept immaculately. We would recommend Stratford Villa for post-acute care for a loved one.
