Wow I wish I had more stars to give this place. I went to the pediatrics and they are the nicest group of staff I have ever had. I love each and everyone of the members of staff there because they are genuinely some of the best people I have met.They were so kind to me and my family. They did their job professionally and promptly. I went to another pediatrics where they made excuses so that I would spend over an hour for a simple shot. Here? I was there for less then about 5 minutes to get my shot. I have a good laugh every time I go and it is such a great environment to be in. I would recommend this place for anyone who needs to go to the pediatrics.

EDITED TO ADD PHOTO: Be wary of the orthopedic department. I saw a young man who was maybe Chinese or Asian and I had such an upsetting experience. He never told me his name so that’s why I mentioned his looks. Not only did he try to force me to get another nerve test just because he refused to treat me without getting a second one. He also told me that he did not trust the opinions of any other doctor and the only way for him to treat me was to force me to get another nerve test when I just had one less than six months ago Definitely be wary of him and if he tries to force you to do something like that, just know you don’t have to you have Options. I have already found another Orthopedic who has said to me that it’s crazy that he wanted me to get another nerve test when I already have a d

In October 2024, I called my doctor’s office to schedule an appointment for my annual physical. The earliest date was January 17, 2025, 9:00 am, I took it. At the end of my workday today, I checked my phone and there was a message from the doctor’s office. “Due to an unforeseen circumstance your appointment for January 17, 2025 at 9:00 has been cancelled.” I called to reschedule and the soonest appointment was in April. I asked if I could see another doctor, even if I had to go to another location. I was told I couldn’t because my doctor is my primary doctor. You cancel my appointment and I have to wait 3 more months. Not happy.

Stony Brook Advanced Medical was a breeze! The place was super clean and everything was easy to find. Big points for the clear signs - no getting lost wandering the halls. They even have an elevator, which is great for anyone who needs it. Plus, you can fill out all that paperwork online before your appointment, which saved me a ton of time in the waiting room. Overall, a really positive experience.

Ive been coming here since my kids were born, my oldest is now 6. I have NEVER been able to get a sick appointment for my son that wasnt 3 or more days out. Whats the point? He never sees his regular Dr unless is scheduled weeks in advanced. Beyond that, I was told I would be called back in 30 days to schedule an endocrinologist, which would then be about 4 to 6 months out. Just called another office and got an appointment in 2 weeks.
