Stillwater Medical - Perry

Came in with pain for an ingrown toenail. The nurse was super nice and helpful and could not connect to the doctor on call. I heard her call him several times with no success and then finally Dr Fischer asked the nurse if it was an emergency because he was out on a run. The nurse mentally prepared me to get my toenail removed which is what I was hoping for because of the pain it was causing. Dr came in for no more than a MINUTE and told me to go to the pharmacy tomorrow and start taking antibiotics. I’m thinking he had never removed a toenail before or plain didn’t want to do it.

The emergency staff I feel saved my life. They work really well together. I came in for a kidney stone and this emergency staff went right to it by making me feel comfortable as possible getting me out of pain and treating me. Thank you so much I really feel like you saved my life

All I know. Is in the last 20 plus years of going to this hospital?This hospital has definitely upped its game in the last 2 years.Great service caring staff.

Hubby in the ER for extreme tooth pain and got a shot of antibiotics an lanacane topical still waiting for the Dr to come give a pain shot or deaden the tooth so that hubby isnt in pain. Dr an nurse staff do more visiting with each other than caring for patient.

Always fast and friendly ! Very knowledgeable for a small town hospital
