This doctor has been incredibly patient and pleasant to my very high maintenance, somewhat difficult father who has a complicated ankle fracture. My Dad tends to second guess everything and not listen to advice well. Nevertheless, his ankle is healing and we are overwhelmingly grateful for the care provided.

Waited 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time to be seen before being told he was running behind. Never met with Dr. Laxson, which is interesting because in my chart he claims he saw and evaluated me which is a lie. I only met with the resident MD Dr. Johnston, who was pleasant. I drove an hour for this appointment - but I guess he couldn’t provide me with 5 minutes of his time. Cool.

Im seeing Dr Laxson because I was born with a club foot in 1962. I’ve had several corrective surgeries While growing up, the last one was when I was about 13. Unfortunately, the pain in my ankle has steadily increased as I’ve aged. I’m pretty much stuck at home. Dr Laxson has given me great hope for a brighter future and says he’ll have me back out on them hiking trails again. He spent lots of time explaining the various options we could take and explained to me what he considers to be the most favorable option and why. I’m scheduled for a fusion and a partial rebuild in March. I can’t tell you how excited I am to be able to go hiking in the hills again.
