I am just sharing again the mobility and the freedom that Dr Steinlauf gave back to my life when he did a surgery ony foot last November . He was able to correct a terrible surgery a podiatrist performed 5 months before. With the results of his amazing job, I am able to keep doing what I love, enjoying the outdoors hiking.. Not only he was nice to take my case, he was the best and most compassionate. I decided not to use any insurance, and his rates were fair and real to the market. Edit: Its been over 1 1/2 years since Dr S. replaced my ankle. Ive never felt better. Wonderfully improved mobility. No aches or pains. Dr. Steinlauf is such a good dude. This guy is down to earth and knows his stuff. His staff at UH was great. He really helped when I needed it.

I badly fractured my Talus bone in my ankle due to a really bad, high-speed snowboarding accident. I rushed back home from Colorado, knowing I needed treatment asap. The clinic on the mountain had told me that unfortunately, they thought I had fractured my Talus. Visiting 3 doctors here in Palm Beach County, I got everything from "it's a bone bruise" to, "you'll be walking in a week". No one ordered a CAT scan, which is what I really needed as the xray didnt clearly show what was going on. Finally I got in to see Dr. Steinlauf. I have had two surgeries with Dr Steinlauf at U Health. First, was for a repair of a torn peroneal tendon and debridement of my right ankle and foot. I am extremely picky and have high standards when choosing my physician/surgeons. ( I am in the medical field) In my in-depth research he came highly recommended. He did not fail.
