I have been a patient of Dr Hankinson for over 25 yrs. I have been EXTREMELY happy with everything. They are so thorough and kind. I would highly recommend this office ... the Optical Shop is also top-notch.

The doctor himself is great. His front desk lady is a whole different story. She's so rude and not helpful at all. Instead of being welcoming and greeting people as they walk in, she seems bothered by everything. She very rudely told my husband he wasn't on the schedule TWICE. He was. It wasn't until the third time he gave her all his info that she "found" his appointment. Then she went out of her way to say that if my husband's broken English, both speaking and understanding, wasn't good enough that the doctor wouldn't even see him. (eyeroll) His English is fine, he's working on it and still learning. Both incidents made my husband feel very unwelcome due to her tone, so he left. Tried to schedule an appointment and was given extremely rude customer service. They asked for my vision insurance provider several times and I have them the name and group number and that still wasn't good enough. They kept asking who my provider was and I have them all the information I have on it. I don't know what more they want. Then the lady assisting me hung up on me because I was asking her what additional information they needed. I guess they don't want my business.

I’ve known Steve Hankinson for over 40 years. He’s not only a good friend, but a very professional, and thorough, optometrist. The care and concern for his patients, exceeds all expectations.
