I couldn’t have picked a better practice to lead me on this lifelong journey of bariatric surgery. Everyone was absolutely wonderful especially Mary, Cate, Dr Rekkas and his PA. They made me feel like an actual person and not just another patient. I could not have felt more safe going into surgery with Cate there to hold my hand all the way to the OR! Thank you Dr Rekkas and team for being there for me when I needed it most! I could not have done this without all of you!! Thank you for the beautiful card from the whole team, that meant a lot! Other doctors have just said lose weight, decrease calories and get meds from your primary to help appetite but Dr Rekkas and Mary the nutritionalist go over your whole wellbeing without making you feel stupid. They treat the whole person and help you by showing you healthy small changes in the months up to surgery that will be life changes to ensure your success!!! No fat shaming

I recently had surgery with this exceptional team of Doctors and physicians, after having experienced pain in my left hip sciatic region. I can only say that is was diagnosed, identified, and removed! I'm virtually painless. Outstanding procedure from an absolute A team!

I will say it doesn’t pay to believe everything you hear before you have your own personal experience. When I first walked into Dr Rekkas office I knew this was the place for me. I work as a Receptionist and I know we are the first impression and I must say I was impressed when I first entered the building. Everyone was very friendly and professional. When Dr Rekkas came into the room he was awesome. He is very straightforward and to the point and that’s what won me over. He is a person, man and doctor that will help you reach your weight loss goals if you want to be helped and after consulting with Dr Rekkas I feel comfortable in allowing him and his staff to help me reach my goal. It has been a little over a year since I had scheduled my first visit with Doctor Rekkas and for personal reasons, I had to pause the bariatric program for 6 months and finally yesterday I got my surgery done by the best: Dr. Rekkas. He and his team have a true passion for what they do and they always make sure you're safe and calm during the entire processe. The post-surgery team was awesome, nothing that put in words will do justice to how nice and careful they were with me during these 2 days. I’m so happy that I met dr rekkas, definitely my best choice 🫶🏽
