Staten Island University Hospital - South Campus

Had a good experience at SIUH South Campus. The nursing staff was attentive, compassionate, and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. The doctors took the time to explain everything clearly and addressed all my concerns. Wait times can be a bit long but that's expected at any hospital. Overall I felt well cared for and would trust this facility again.

I had a hip replacement in this facility just now. Super skilled and professional surgeon, great team, welcoming and accommodating personnel. They gave me a private room and nurses showed up within a few minutes upon my call. I can't thank them enough for the great job and treatment. Well deserved 5 stars!

I had surgery here for an IUD REMOVAL, not telling me that they were performing AN ABORTION WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE AND NEVER TOLD ME THAT I HAD UTERINE CANCER. My parents brought me late and they forced me NOT TO DATE THE PAPERWORK OR READ IT. Here is a picture of my uterus. Here's my, white and grey matter" I WAS A PATIENT FOR YEARS WITH DR. JOHN PRUE, AND WAS REFERRED IN HIS OFFICE TO DR. TUBMAN. I WAS ASKED BY DR. TUBMAN, "WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE A MOTHER"?, I REPLIED THAT MY MOTHER TOLD ME IF I WAS EVER PREGNANT THAT I WOULD HAVE TO GET AN ABORTION. SHE NEVER TOLD ME THAT I WAS PREGNANT. NEXT THING YOU KNOW I WAS SCHEDULED FOR THE SURGERY OF AN IUD REMOVAL. ALL I REMEMBER IS BEING IN EXCRUCIATING PAIN WITH EXCESSIVE BLEEDING FOR MONTHS. UPON REQUESTING MY RECORDS I FOUND OUT I DID H

I was in a car accident and of course was dreading going to the hospital thinking I would be there all day. Boy was I wrong. I am so impressed with the way this hospital treated me, how efficient and smooth their operation was. I wasn't left alone for more than a few minutes before somebody else came in and tended to me or took me for x-rays or gave me a shot. The staff were so nice. I was in and out in less than 2 hours and saw an MD, a PA, a nurse, and a few others. Kudos to this amazing team and thank you.

I came here my gallbladder was giving me trouble.i called a doc I had an appointment with didn’t meet yet .They got in touch with him he meet me at the hospital got all my test done and had surgery the next day . The nurses and staff at this hospital is great .I want to thank Dr.Tejani for the great care he has given me his people in the operating room . This hospital has true angels working there . I give this hospital a 10 for all there hard working people .
