STAT MED Urgent Care

My daughter was feeling very unwell on a Sunday morning and the Urgent Care facility I normally go to in Walnut Creek was closed. So we called Stat Med and they said come on over. The staff was extremely polite and the location is clean and nice but “oh my God” the wait was insane. I’m not sure what took longer, the wait to see the doctor or the wait to get test results and check out. Altogether, we were there just over four hours. The staff tried to be helpful and I was happy overall with the service but that timeline was unacceptable. And then I got a ridiculous bill which further dampened my enthusiasm for this place. I had thought our visit was a one time occurrence but my regular Urgent Care spot has since closed permanently so I’m not sure what I’ll do the next time we need hel

I received excellent care at the Lafayette Stat Med location. I had cut myself and could not stop the bleeding due to blood thinners I take. Dr. Deborah Goetsch, the attending physician, was very friendly and kind and showed a level of empathy you don’t see much anymore. She stopped the bleeding and had me patched up very quickly. The rest of the staff was friendly, courteous and efficient. I would highly recommend this location.

As with most urgent care clinics, they do not have the biggest staff. Checking in can take a little bit of time compared to a large practice, but this clinic makes it a priority for you to be seen and treated effectively. I found all of their clinicians very competent and helpful when I have been sick.

Easy appointment process - uploaded all documents in my mobile. Staff was exceptional! A slip of the knife while cutting potatoes and my finger was not happy. All bandaged up and on the mend! 10 days post stitches and the removal process was smooth and easy! Check in fast, done in less that 20min! Thank you STATMed Lafayette!

I was traveling, staying in a hotel. Overnight I woke up with UTI pain & urgency, I had also been fighting a respiratory infection for over a week. I looked online for Urgent Care, made first available appointment for 10 am, completed reservation & questions online.  I arrived soon after they were open at 9 am, hoping to be seen early. I was taken to a room within a few minutes for history, vitals and urinalysis.  Doctor/PA was thorough called in Rx and I was out shortly after my actual appointment time.  The next day they called to say that they wanted to change my antibiotic to one that would more effectively target my specific urine bacteria.  I picked it up shortly afterward at local CVS. I give the Lafayette STAT Clinic a 10+!
