Starling Physicians New Britain Pediatrics

Beware of this medical office both Newington and especially New Britain office. My daughter has been going to this office since she was a new born in the Newington office. Dr. Rideal was an amazing doctor but he moved to the Enfield office in 2020 and ever since he has left the office is horrible and very unorganized. They never answer the phones and they can’t seem to keep their doctors and APRN. Since Dr. Rideal has left my daughter has had three different doctors treating her. They also close the office and have you go to the New Britain office when they are short doctors. I would not recommend Starling pediatric’s to anyone. Update : 7/30/25 Avoid this place we only go or call for physicals at this point everything else we go to the walk in as we get better care I have been trying to find another providers office a lot aren’t taking new pts This year drs well should I say do’s she seemed to be under the influence. Slow speaking words slurred She’s rude and talks down to people Very unhappy nothing seems to fix this place Only positive the nurse who rooms us etc is amazing Update: 7/23/24 If I could leave 0 stars Non stop dr changes without any communication of it Called to speak with Dr or nurse re bloodwork results prior to my daughters surgery and only got a call back from a receptionist This place is shit I have started calling for a new pediatrician for my children at this point I wouldn’t take my dog her

I love starling as a whole, but especially the care we get from Dr. Yip. She pays special attention to postpartum mothers and doesn’t focus care solely on the baby. After going through a delivery experience that neglected me entirely, it was really nice to go in for a ped appointment and feel seen by my daughters doctor. They always make time to see us if we call with a concern and Dr yip always takes her time, listening carefully, and explains everything really thoroughly, giving us notes she took at the end of every appointment. Excellent care through and through.

Dr. Ramirez, Nurse Jessie and all the front desk staff are amazing!! 6 years here and I have never had a bad feeling or bad experience. All staff goes above and beyond to make us feel welcome and accommodate us when needed. Truly blessed to never have to worry when it comes to my kids care.

0/10. If you like communication, customer service & correct diagnoses the first time, then this place is not recommended. I have a 5 month old & the childish/ignorant games these GROWN ppl play is ridiculous. At first i loved them. Once my daughter got sick communication & common courtesy went out the window. Also, the pediatric manager or office manager needs to be fired. She’s very condescending & stupid. Do NOT bring your babies to this facility. I highly recommend the newington facility!!
