Star of the Sea - Adult Family Home

I am a Mobile beautician for the homebound and was introduced to this home through friend of mine, whose husband was a resident. Of the many homes that I go to, this is one of my favorites. The residents get the most wonderful care. Very clean, The owners And caregivers greet you with a smile, wonderful conversations and when you walk in the house, you can’t help but to feel the presence of God throughout. What an amazing place to be. 🙏😇

Star of the Sea contacted me to provide weekly spiritual companionship with any interested residents. The owners have known me for many years and are aware of my love for Scripture and ministry. They realized that residents may have needs beyond the physical ones they provide for and so they offer opportunity for Bible study and conversation. It has been wonderful spending an hour a week with the residents, spouses and friends reading from the Bible and talking about their journey of faith. Star of the Sea has truly become a family of caring staff, residents, family and friends.

Star of the Sea is an encouraging place for residents and families. I have provided care for my wife since her 2001 diagnoses of Parkinson's Disease until May of 2024 when we found the Star of the Sea AFH - an encouraging place with a heart for caring. My husband lives here and Im so glad we found them. Very kind and careing owners and staff. They really care and take time to know each resident and give the special care each person may need. It's really a family place, a loving place, a careing place, with lots of love to share.

I had the opportunity to visit the home care facility. The home is cozy, clean and comfortable. The residents look happy and well adjusted and are very nice to be acquainted with. The owners are very good & kind people. Feels like a very good place to be and am glad to have visited!
