I have worked with Kat for over a year now, and would not like to imagine where I would be without her. A field hockey accident as a teenager, multiple car accidents and an accident on my bike during an Ironman 3 years ago have left me with injured cervical and lumbar regions of my spine. I completed another triathlon in July 2025 but ended up in excruciating pain from compression in those areas and my body unable to compensate. In a nutshell, after an MRI, two different professionals told me I should give up the sport I love, and that I would need a fusion. At 41 years young I did not want to accept this as the only option and scheduled an appointment with Kat. I had severe pain radiating into my left hip from my lower back regardless of what I was doing, and numbness and tingling in my a

I've worked with Kat at Bend & Stretch both in person and remotely to treat a range of running-related injuries and postural problems. She has always been thorough in assessing symptoms, asks a lot of questions to get a broader view of the injury context, and thinks deeply before leaping to conclusions about treatment. Her expertise in Pilates adds a broad vocabulary therapeutic activities to build a recovery program. I've consistently been back to full activity and confidence in my body more quickly than I expect after working with Kat, and she's been attentive and re-assuring when I've been injured and feeling discouraged.

I came to Kat desperate after herniating a disc in my lower back. I was in excruciating and debilitating pain, unable to work or even pick up my one year old. From the very first phone consult she was able to walk me through different things to try that provided me relief from the constant pain I was in. She is so invested in your care and really listens to your needs. She helped me so much and I learned more about my body and the way I move in our first consult session than in my 34 years living in it. I was back in the gym moving almost completely pain free about 7 weeks later and it was all thanks to Kat. She is incredible and I would recommend her to anyone!

Kat has truly changed my life. She doesn’t just focus on the problem area — she looks at your whole body and how it functions together when treating your specific needs. I left my first appointment not only with a comprehensive plan of action, but also with a clear understanding of why my body feels and moves the way it does. She takes the time to explain everything in a way that makes sense. I can’t recommend her enough — after just one appointment, you’ll understand what I mean.

She is amazing. Super knowledgable, very thorough and has been monumental in my path of understanding my body. Could not recommend her enough. Every visit left me with further discovery and a more intentional therapeutic plan. Much more than just a therapist and very caring.
