Stand-Up MRI of East Elmhurst

Great and quick experience both the tech and the front desk person were very kind, knowledgeable and easy to speak to. Both answered all my questions and did my scan and got me on my way happy. I went at 8:30 last night they were awesome

It is not a stand up mri. I went here with the hopes of doing a stand up mri, and I was unable to do the mri because the unit was not wide enough for my shoulders to fit in. This place has costed me time and money. I do not recommend this mri for anyone that has a width of 14 inches or more.

I have to admit, I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews, but my experience here was great. I’m extremely claustrophobic and had been putting off getting an MRI of both shoulders for a while. When I arrived, I was on the machine within about five minutes. My wife was even allowed to come into the room with me after we removed anything metal. I suggest wearing comfortable clothing. Lourdes, who did my MRI, was amazing, professional, and understanding of my claustrophobia. She made sure I was comfortable the entire time and let me know that if I needed a break, all I had to do was press the button she provided. I was in and out in about an hour with both MRIs completed of both shoulders. I’d definitely return to this location if I ever (god forbid) need another MRI done.

I don’t know where to start. First when I went in Basha the receptionist was so nice and kind. Secondly, they offer free ride for pick up and drop off. Most importantly I am claustrophobic and I was so nervous for my MRI. But when I went in the room, it was just a sitting machine. The guy who did my MRI was so helpful. Also they let you take someone with you inside. I took my mom. They also have TV inside to distract you if you are anxious. I had the best experience here. I am always coming here for any MRI’s or any scans.

Waste of time. They call you six time to confirm your appointment and when you confirm it a couple of hours before they call you amd cancel the appointment. Then when they change it they txt you four times to come 20 minutes early and I end up waiting an hour over my appointment. Horrible.
