Stand-Up MRI of Deer Park, P.C.

Stay away from Stand-Up MRI of Deer Park. I was told my two MRI scans would be marked “STAT” and ready by Friday, yet it is now Monday and I still do not have my results despite calling the office multiple times. I am currently in extreme pain and waiting on these results to determine next steps for treatment. Being told something is “STAT” should actually mean urgent, but the lack of urgency, follow-through, and communication has been completely unacceptable and has caused unnecessary stress while dealing with significant physical pain. Patients rely on timely imaging results for medical decisions, and this level of delay and poor communication is simply not acceptable. I strongly recommend choosing a different imaging center if you need reliable service and timely reporting.

I was very nervous and anxious and Joe the mri tech was so comforting and explained everything. The receptionist was very welcoming i didnt get her name but she was so nice!! I was able to watch tv during the mri and i had a good cushion on my arms so i wasn't sitting uncomfortably. it was a very pleasant experience. id rather come to this location instead of the islandia. this one is 10x better!!!

I had a fantastic experience at stand up mri of North Babylon . Jon at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. I had to get an MRI of the spine , hip, and pelvis split between two days and the technician Joe was extremely accommodating. Any fears or concerns I had quickly resolved. Thank you again, I will definitely be using this facility for an MRI needs in the future.

I have spinal fusion, so my back can't move in certain directions. They know this and I reminded them of this fact and they still strapped me in (a tight strap on my head keeping it stuck to the platform, and a tight armbar keeping you stuck at the stomach like a roller coaster) to the stand-up MRI with no regard for whether I thought it was too tight or not. They put me into the MRI and left me even though I continously, repeatedly pressed, held, waved, and swung the emergency remote nobody came to help and nobody stopped the machine. I could see people walking around the room and doing nothing to help despite all my attempts to get attention and help. I was in so much excruciating pain when they "finished" the MRI, I had to slowly slide out and onto the floor where I had to lay for nearl
