Stacey has helped me in ways that no one else ever has. She is a gifted healer who is deeply committed to growth—not only for the people she works with, but also to expanding her own therapeutic knowledge and skills. I’ve struggled with pelvic floor issues for years and tried many different modes of treatment without experiencing real change. The work Stacey did with me reached deep, stuck aspects of my being. As a result, I’m able to breathe more deeply and experience life more fully. This transformation has been incredible for my career as a performer, singer, and touring musician! Although my primary issues were in my pelvis, Stacey intuitively recognized other areas of my body that needed attention. She supported me through Craniosacral work and Myofascial Release, and each session w
Stacey is a miracle worker. I hurt my back. I was in terrible pain & had to wait 3 weeks for an MRI. The doctor gave me medication but it didn’t work. I was so immobile I thought I would have to cancel my family’s holiday plans. After a 1 hour session with Stacey my pain was cut in half. She gave me some light exercises & other suggestions on what I could do to help myself. A few more sessions with her and I was almost without pain. She saved my holiday & the reduction of pain allowed me to sleep through the night. Stacey is very professional, knowledgeable & you can feel that she loves what she does. I strongly recommend her.
I was referred to Stacey by my long-time Physical Therapist who regarded her as a pelvic floor specialist with strength in Fascia work. And, this was what I found in her. It was a time when dealing with long Covid, bladder wall inflamation and the issue of not being able to pee. I found Stacey to be especially attuned to identifying where I needed to unwind, destress and how to apply various tools and exercises on my path to healing. Although I am now facing surgery, unable to avoid urological intervention, I am able to maintain a daily routine that keeps me aware and feeling alive in areas that I previously tuned out. I'm grateful for Stacey's caregiving and sensitive approach, able to read through the skin and detect tensions and knots I was oblivious of. With care and respect, Stacy to
Stacey has been a wonderful PT and source of support to have throughout my pregnancy and early postpartum period. She helped effectively manage my SPD and pelvic pain in my 2nd and 3rd trimesters, and was available via text/call to offer advice and get me through flare ups when I was between appointments. She also offered prenatal massages which were relaxing and carefully curated based on my pain points and history. I strongly believe her treatment contributed to my smooth labor and the uncomplicated delivery of my second baby. I'm happy to continue treatment with her as we work to repair my diastasis recti and rebuild strength postpartum. Stacey is trustworthy and a great listener which are key traits to have in this line of work. Can't recommend her enough!
Hands down THE BEST, MOST SKILLED, PROFESSIONAL PT in all of Maryland. Stacey Gayer has been an incredible find for me. I have suffered for years from back pain, hip pain, neck pain and pelvic floor challenges after having 2 children. Stacey provides a level of expertise that far outweighs any other professional Physical Therapist, Orthopedist, Chiropractor, Sports Injury Therapist or Bodyworker I have seen (and I have been to a number over the past 15 years). She is able to meet you where you are at and provide insightful, practical and sustainable treatments for both acute and chronic conditions. Just the simple pelvic exercises she gave me helped to alleviate most of my chronic back pain, when nothing else seemed to help. In addition to general physical therapy Stacey is magical with he
