St. Mary's Urgent Care - Gloversville

I was on vacation upstate when I got a UTI. I’m from Long Island and was told by the front desk associate that my Fidelis health insurance was “very good.” I paid my normal $50 copay and was led to believe my visit was fully covered since I have NY State insurance. Two months later, I was shocked to receive a bill for over $1,500. Only then did I find out they do NOT accept my insurance — something I was never informed of at the time of service. This lack of disclosure is unacceptable and may violate NY insurance regulations regarding transparency. I will be filing a formal complaint with the NY Department of Financial Services and the Department of Health. Patients deserve honesty and clarity about coverage before being treated. Unbelievable.

Been dealing with a crazy amount of tooth pain and they doctor Michelle was amazing. Helped me realize more was wrong then just the tooth causing me pain. Took care of me very well. Better then I have at any doctor's office.

The staff were awesome! The building...in the waiting room and in the exam room.....absolutely disgusting!!!! The room I was in with my sick daughter was sooooo dirty. Whoever St Mary's has cleaning for them....SUCKS!!!!

The receptionist Elizabeth was not kind or compassionate in any way. Acted as if it was a bother to do HER job.

Horrible customer service. Our pediatrician a Dr in St Mary's told us to take our son there for a chest X-ray he said I put the order in the computer any St Mary's urgent care can see it and do it. Well my husband took our son to the Gloversville location and Dr Gaboy first told them there was no order for the chest X-ray otherwise he'd have been given a piece of paper with it on that. Then went on to say our pediatrician had no rights to order a chest x-ray at HIS location. The kid was on Mucinex for week before I took him to our Drs office he was put on something for 7 days it didn't help so that's why we needed the chest x-ray to make sure it wasn't pneumonia. Dr Gaboy said just a common cold! Now this kid has been having coughing fits where he lost his breath and this Dr said more Muc
