After a fall (onto concrete) that dislocated my shoulder, Dr Carolan and his team were terrific. He performed arthroscopic surgery to repair multiple torn tendons and the rotator cuff, and my personal commitment to 6 months of active physical therapy meant I have full use of my strong shoulder again. At 72 this journey was no picnic. But the medical team was stellar!

Check in and out person and the person who took me back to the room were very nice but the woman who saw me before the doctor and the doctor were rude. Basically told me there was no reason for me to he there, nothing they could do and if my shoulder hurt dont lift with it. All in the 30 seconds he spent with me. I was referred by a colleague of Theresa just to make sure they were not missing anything. Waste of my time and money. Maybe other docs are ok but the ones I had- not so much!!!

I would give more stars if I could. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The appt was on time (even early!). I got the support i needed and walked out with a helpful plan of action. I'm so glad I got referred here.

Yes it is true that they do have some terrible doctors here who do not have the most welcoming personality nor seem to enjoy their job. You want someone to help you? You go to Doctor David Heckam and no one else. Im only 20 and have been dealing with what seems like a genetic disorder that is causing conflict within both of my knees. After 2 years of working with other various doctors he agreed to do an arthroscopy on my left knee even though the studying images cannot identify my problem. All the other doctors I have seen in the Lehigh valley have refused to help me because of how complex my problem is. My daughter and I both have received excellent and thorough care here for our various orthopedic injuries in recent years. Highly recommend St. Luke’s Orthopedics team of doctors. The staff are super friendly and helpful as well. We love this particular location because it’s super convenient and close to home and we can be at our appointments within 5 minutes.
