St Louis Pediatric Associates

Doctors are great but the new records process is inadequate because now I have to call a third party to get records for my daughter who is a patient of theirs. When is it ok to contract medical records to third party companies. Who can't even find St. Louis pediatric associates in their system?

We’ve been taking our baby to St. Louis Pediatric Associates since birth, but we’re disappointed with their recent lack of communication. They changed the insurance they accept without notifying us, causing unnecessary stress. Instead of apologizing or offering help, the front desk was unhelpful and dismissive. Poor service and communication are unacceptable in a pediatric office. We would not recommend this practice unless improvements are made.

The doctors are wonderful, the policies in the office are terrible. Policies come before the kids and common sense. We have been coming here for 22 years we are not new to the practice. On Monday we were stuck out of town under very difficult circumstances and I called to see if they would call in Tamiflu for my 18 year old daughter. They would not, because she did not have a documented case of flu. I took her to urgent care and spent $250 and she was swabbed and positive for Flu A. We couldn't get medicine in time before my daughter had to fly back to Miami so she had to fly home in a mask very sick and never did get the medicine bc she was outside of the for it to work at that point. It is now Wed and her younger sister and I both have flu symptoms. My PC called in Tamiflu for me

We have had a great experience with both of our daughters at this office. Dr. Felsch in particular is wonderful! She never rushes us, answers all of our questions thoroughly, and gives us realistic answers/support from a mom’s perspective as well as a doctor. We’ve never had trouble getting an appointment when it is needed, including being seen the same day when sick. Highly recommend!

My son had fever for 5 days when we’ve seen the doctor and was told to monitor and continue with OTC medicine. It didn’t improve , when I called back I was asked to make an appointment again. Not sure if they’re trying to increase patient visits to make more money but 7 days of fever can’t get this doctors to write a prescription is unbelievable. We have been coming here for more than 5 years and it had been wonderful. However recently they started pushing us to see the nurse instead of the doctor who’s been seeing my child for 5 years. Not sure if SSM transition caused this but we won’t be coming back here. When my son had fever last time, Nurse told us to monitor. We insisted to see the doctor and they ordered x-ray and it turned out to be Pneumonia. We were not taken seriously this time
