St. Joseph's/Candler Urgent Care - Pooler Campus

I have visited my shares of Urgent Cares and really liked this one. Unfortunately, it is not the same. I went in with coughing and all symptoms of Covid but was not tested. I was diagnosed with a sinus infection but when I went to the pharmacy I bought a Covid test and tested positive. I could have went to work on Monday and infected everyone. She prescribed an antibiotic and steroids. It would have not worked with Covid.

I went to this urgent care on a Sunday because I was coughing up a lot of mucus. My chest was congested & my head kept hurting. They said I texted negative for flu & Covid & said it was a sinus infection… But my chest is congested & I keep coughing up a lot of mucus? I read over the views & I heard the same exact story from others. I will have to try another urgent care. I don’t think their much help at this one. They were just trying to rush ppl or they’re just lazy. And this is coming from a BLACK woman !

This was not one of my better experiences. Upon entry, it seemed to be a bit disorganized and there were several patients that were upset at how patients were being seen. The two young ladies at the desk were not very helpful and seemed to laugh a lot of concerns off instead of actively trying to address them. At this location- you can make appointments and they accept walk in patients. One patient in particular- was dealing with a sick toddler and questioned why people kept going in front of them. She was not from the US and was generally trying to understand as the child was extremely restless. The young lady said “oh well we take patients and walk ins and the appointments take precedent.” She asked why no one told her that when she came in hours ago as she would have tried to make an ap

We had an excellent experience here. They got us in very quickly, which is such a relief when you’re not feeling your best. The staff was incredibly friendly, relatable, and down-to-earth — it didn’t feel like the usual cold clinical environment at all. They were honest and transparent with my husband about everything, and we really appreciated that. No sugarcoating, just real conversations and genuine care. It made a stressful situation so much easier to handle. Highly recommend this urgent care if you want fast, respectful, and compassionate treatment.

I work in health care, and can say without a doubt that this was the worst experience I have ever had in any medical facility. I was handed my prescriptions before I was examined and was told I have a sinus infection before I was looked at. When I tried to bring up concerns about a productive cough and previous hx or pneumonia and asthma I was cut off and told I just have a post nasal drip and to take the antibiotic and then she walked out the room. Never tested for flu or covid.
