St. Joseph's/Candler Primary Care - Pooler

I’m a nurse practitioner student who called to ask about a preceptorship and was absolutely appalled by the front desk staff behavior. The girl that I spoke with was so rude for no reason and had an attitude the entire interaction. Then I was told that they don’t offer preceptorships at all. What healthcare facility doesn’t allow clinicals? As a future provider looking into potential employment in the area, this was so unprofessional and off putting. It costs absolutely nothing to be kind.. do better.

The doctor was great, it's the front office where ALL of the problems exist. The reviews of "F" start AND end at the front desk. 45 minutes ON THE PHONE for an appointment date is PATHETIC !!!

I can tell you this is the best medical facility I’ve ever been affiliated with, when my primary care doctor left I was so nervous because she was so great and attentive to me and I’m sure all of her patients, she was replaced with Dr.Robert (long last name) forgive me and he most definitely is a great doctor he immediately studied my file and found solutions to conditions I’ve been suffering with such as anxiety and hbp im more than blessed. I referred my fiancée to him who hadn’t been under Dr care until recently he had a health issue and suffered with gout Dr.Robert is educated in all areas and helped us with a solution as well as referrals. I am a new patient here, and let me start off by saying. Once you enter the door and check in for appointment , the entire staff greets you, an genuinely gives a smile....the process is fast. No long wait times. My doctor Caitlin Young. Is amazing, very understanding, an really cares about her patients. She really is concerned and tries to get down to how to make you feel better. She spends time with you, and doesnt make you feel like she doesn't truly care...she actually cares!!! I'm so blessed to have found such a wonderful place. An a wonderful doctor. I trust to come here for all my needs. My kids also have Dr Young as their doctor, an she treated them with the same welcome.

I visited the medicine management here. This facility is new, modern and clean! The staff are in top of it as soon as you walk in the door. There's a Physical therapy dept, Dr's offices, day surgery area, coffee shop, urgent care (ER) and probably more. I also had to visit the urgent care dept for issues I was having. Let me say you check in quickly, they call you back quickly and the DR saw me shortly thereafter. Even tho two ambulances arrived I was in and out within an hour! Highly recommend.
