St. Joseph's/Candler Physician Network - Podiatry (Pooler)

Long patient of Dr. Shapiro and now that he's retired, I needed to find a new surgeon for a repeat procedure. My first visit, I felt comfortable AFTER I got past the front desk. The doc agreed with me about my past foot Dr. and the future of looking at another plantar fibroid tumor removal, and possibly several more. WE, agreed to get an ultrasound on the BOTTOM of my foot and scheduled an appointment downstairs. I show up on time and go through the registration and get an immediate rejection from my insurance and I have a $95 bill. Disgusted, I have a seat and am called to my procedure.......... As I'm going back, the nurse was checking up on what's going on and tells me "we're looking at the left leg" and I said "FOOT", and she said "NO we're doing a blood clot scan in your left leg" ...

I’m making this complaint because how I was treated today. I’ve been a patient with Dr. Sharma for years before they moved there office. I’m highly upset with the customer service today in Pooler GA. There was no common courtesy or understanding for the disable at this Medical Center, St Joseph on Pooler Parkway. I’ve patiently waited for almost 2 weeks in pain, and I even explained that to the girl at the front desk. I’ve explained how I had to deal with traffic this morning because of an accident to get there on interstate 16 between Pooler Parkway and the Bloomingdale exit. I’ve explained to the front desk clerk how the parking lot was full. There was no handicap parking spaces and I had to walk across the parking lot. Take the elevator to the third floor. I had to find the office 320 b

I'm outa state, here from Louisiana. My husbands working out on Elba island. I have not been to this type of doctor before and was slightly nervous. The ladies in the office were awesome and friendly. I didn't have insurance and they didn't fuss at me, they worked with me. The doctor was very nice and explained things to me so I could understand the problem. Thank you Georgia foot and ankle!!! Thank you thank you thank you for taking care of me!! Lisa Carter

The woman in the front desk acts like she don't want to help , does not want to help you , lazy ,hateful. ,why do I have to make an appointment to see the doctor when all I need was my last appointment date and reason , y'all need to fire her , that's why I haven't returned , she's sorry
