St. Joseph Hospital

I cannot be more happy, humbled, touched and grateful for the care we received for my minor son at the ER today. So much i am compelled to post the review right away. Everyone from the front desk to Security to wonderful RNs to Resident Student to Xray Techs (i am aorry if i missed anyone but every single person we got in touch today i am beyond impressed with) and, most importantly, the attending Dr. Skow and specialty Dr. Mir were beyond caring, attentive, knowledgeable, prompt and just totally totally amazing in a scary situation. I can not thank everyone on ER duty today for truly the most comforting knowledgeable and prompt experience we had because we had a “village” of unbelievable and amazing professionals taking care of us. I would give a 1000 rating if i could. So grateful for

We had an exceptional experience at St. Joseph’s Hospital. From the moment we arrived, the care, professionalism, and compassion shown by the staff were truly outstanding. A very special thank you to Nurse Kareen, who went above and beyond in every way. Her kindness, attentiveness, and calming presence made a stressful situation so much easier. She was patient, thorough, and genuinely caring — the kind of nurse every family hopes to have during a difficult time. We are incredibly grateful for the level of service and humanity we experienced. Thank you to Nurse Kareen and the entire team at St. Joseph’s for providing such excellent care.

I would give this hospital a negative rating if that were possible. As someone who works in the healthcare field, I was genuinely disturbed by the level of care provided. The lack of adherence to basic standards of patient care was evident throughout my experience. Excessive wait times in the waiting room, followed by additional hours before being seen, ultimately resulted in a rushed evaluation and discharge without a thorough or appropriate workup. Being told that “nothing is wrong” after such delays, without meaningful assessment, is both frustrating and concerning. If you value your health and well-being, I strongly recommend seeking care elsewhere.

I had my surgery yesterday at St Joseph. Great experience. The operating room staff was amazing. The medical staff Flore and Rachel were very nice; but there was one nurse assistant was very rude; first; she came to take notes of all my belongings; from that moment I felt her attitude; She told me that my husband couldn’t get off and take me to the bathroom. But besides that everything was great.

This is the third time I came to this Hospital due to dehydration. I should have learned my lesson last time, I have never seen a place run so poorly. They took close to 2 hours to give me saline for dehydration, at that point my kidney numbers went up as a result. I was all hydrated and ready to leave by 10:00 a.m. and they told me just to go upstairs, it's been 4 and 1/2 hours and no one has acknowledged me. The nurses told the doctor something that wasn't true and that's why he never came in. I can't make this up. I highly recommend anyone thinking about this hospital if you're able to go somewhere else
