St John's Riverside Hospital - Dobbs Ferry Pavilion

I visited the ER today for severe lower back pain and I was greeted immediately and taken back to a room. The whole staff was kind, patient and caring. I was seen by Dr. Sasso who took the time to listen, explain everything and ensure I was set up for next steps in treatment. The entire ER experience was wonderful from start to finish. Thank you!

I have been to the ER here and had surgery here years ago and was always pleased with my experiences. The place is clean and generally quiet. The care I received was great and I am thankful that this hospital wasnt closed years ago when there was talk of that.

When I had gone to the emergency room I had seen Dr. Platzman. He was excellent and took very good care of me! The staff and nurses were all very kind as well. Two days later Eileen had then called me to follow up and make sure I was feeling ok. I would highly recommend St. John's Riverside Hospital in Dobbs Ferry!

My husband drove me to St. John's Riverside Hospital Dobbs Ferry Pavilion. I was in heart failure and suffering from sepsis. From the time I entered the emergency room until the day I was discharged a week later, the merdical team worked together flawlessly. They diagnosed a kidney stone that caused a urinary tract infection, cardiac overload, and pneumonia. I was treated with antibiotics and nebulizers. My temperature returned to normal after I entered with 102.9 fever. I cannot say enough good things about the compassion, kindness, and expertise of the nurses who tried to alleviate my discomfort and keep me feeling fresh and clean. I brought my friend here from twenty miles away because this is the best ER in the area. Superlative staff and service and very little wait time. Nurse Layador terrific and Dr. Sasso was fantastic. Go here. You’ll be glad you did, it’s light years ahead of everywhere else.
