Nurses in the women’s unit were spectacularly professional and amazingly caring. Everyone there was so kind! The housekeeping staff and food service were also excellent. I have been in two other hospitals in my lifetime and St John’s treated me the best. I really felt genuine empathy and concern for my wellbeing. Thank you 😊

My aunt is a blind, medically fragile African‑American senior who had been in and out of another hospital in Santa Barbara for months. Week after week, she was admitted and discharged without improvement. She grew weaker, stopped eating, stopped drinking, and was no longer herself. We were exhausted, scared, and felt invisible. I live in Ventura, California, and I’d prefer St. John’s Hospital over any other hospital in Ventura. I don’t have a problem with VCMC nor do I have a problem with Community Memorial Hospital.. It’s just that St. John’s they treat you like your family there a d all the staff that has cared for me during emergency room visits or when I had to be admitted they truly have the best bedside manners. The staff is very knowledgeable and are always making sure there patients come first. l highly recommend St. John’s Hospital for your next visit. Staff is wonderful. The nurses and doctors truly care and they give you their time. Thank you

I’m a Raving Fan of St. John’s Regional Hospital. Due to nurses strike my Kaiser Dr had me referred to St John’s Regional Hospital, Oxnard for my Chemotherapy treatment. From beginning to end from that moment I checked in, the ladies on 4th floor were wonderful and helpful. From there I was taken to the third floor for paper work, after vitals, then introduced to Sonia who took care of me in a fantastic way, chemo treatment, coffee and snacks were a nice treat. Best hospital I've ever been to. Everyone is very kind and efficient without making you feel rushed. No matter the reason I end up there, they always treat me with respect and are thorough with every test and scan. From the emergency department to the actual hospital, every staff member I came in contact with was sweet and genuine. I will always choose this hospital when given the choice
