My son recently spent a month at rehab here after having spent 7 weeks very sick in the hospital with 2 major surgeries, so this was a very tough stretch of time for him. His care team (physicians, nurses, CNAs, physical and occupational therapists, and his social worker) were all top-notch. People often have preconceived notions about nursing facilities, myself included, but from the moment my son was transferred there, I was impressed. The levels of compassion given to my son was excellent. They really do care. Even the young man who kept my son’s section of the rehab wing clean during the day deserves a shout-out. So, yes, it isn’t fun being a rehab resident no matter for how long, and this older facility could definitely use some upgrading and more maintenance, but for the month my so

Back in the early-mid 1990’s, my cousin (Louis Fioravanti) was the administrator here and his wife Mary worked in the kitchen. And I will *NEVER* forget how well they took care of an important member of my family. I remember all the staff always being so amazing. Another one of my cousins (Catherine Tatem) who was only 52 years old sadly stayed here on hospice for a short time back in 1998 upon her sudden and devastating inoperable/untreatable Glioblastoma diagnosis (malignant brain tumor). Sister Biotta was an absolute Angel, and total Godsend for our family. I believe Sister prepared my Cousin Cassie for death in the 4 short weeks she was there. I’ll never forget Sister whispering prayers into my cousin’s ear as she took her final breath. That was such a sad and tragic time for our famil

I stayed here from February 28th to March 21st (after they did a failed discharge the day before thanks to an awesome Uber driver that cared enough to bring me back for one more night) after a three month stay in Saint Mary's Hospital, when I got out, I was still in a poor shape that I ended up back in the hospital that same day (Temple) where I then went to Serenity Court (a medical respite for the homeless) where I actually went through proper rehab and they didn't just send me to a homeless shelter in a poor state unlike this place... Where to add insult to injury, they sent me to a homeless shelter right after it closed on March 20th and heard it wasn't the first time they did that to someone either. Food is subpar quality from what I could eat because I was suffering from a condition
