St. Francis Hospital: Emergency Room

I haven't lived in Illinois for more than two weeks and I am struck with a tooth infection. I know it's a tooth infection because I have had them before. I am nearly certain I need antibiotics because normal pain meds won't fix it. In my experience, by not getting antibiotics this has led to complications in the past. Being new to the state, my first course of action was to go to the ER closest to my house. I sat in the waiting room after registration for an hour, while my fiance spent that time calling around urgent cares and other ER's. A person at this ER answered and said they had short wait times. It was a Sunday afternoon. In the time it took us to drive 20 minutes from the first ER to this one, and to be registered, seen by nurses, then a doctor was quicker than just waiting for t
