Horrible facility! If you care about your loved one do NOT send them there! My dear mother was there 2 nights and called me crying saying "Get me the hell out of here!" She had to bang on her wall for someone to come and change her, the despicable "nurse" BRENDA literally told my mom to "shut up and go to sleep"! State complaint was filed! I've watched them literally talk to patients there like they were children! The food there looks and smells terrible! There's There is a stench as soon as you walk through the doors....place looks like it hasn't been upgraded since the 80s! There were a couple of workers there who were kind and actually seemed to care about people there, but I'm honestly surprised this place hasn't been shut down! My mother literally cried after 2 days in this place. Abs

The staff is incredibly caring. They make sure to include my dad in activities and even sit outside when the weather is good. My dad has been there many years and I find comfort knowing that he is in good hands!

Words cannot explain how horrible this place is. State complaint filed. My mother had a near-death experience due to lack of proper care of a catheter causing her an additional 8-day extended stay back at a hospital including a day and a half in ICU.

My father was at St. Francis for 7 weeks and his medical care was terribly mismanaged. After a hospital stay, St. Francis was supposed to resume his diuretics, which they didn't. As a result his edema went out of control and he ended up back in the hospital just hours after he was discharged. When my mother and aunt went to pick him up, they had to ask for help to get him into the car. The staff did not notice that his body was so swollen he could barely get into the car. Also, my father received nebulizer treatments at St. Francis, which the physician at the hospital explained were unnecessary and can in fact be harmful. The rooms are very small and there are no telephones in them so it is very difficult to communicate with a patient there.

Staff don't help patients when they are sick, they just tell patients they are fine! If you love your family don't bring them here
