I was at St. Elizabeth rehabilitation today for the first time and l was so impressed because l have been to many rehabilitation in the past but St. Elizabeth was exceptional. Right from the receptionist, to the nurses and therapist, they are all very professional, kind, nice and well knowledgeable. Unlike other rehabilitation, St. Elizabeth rehabilitation is very clean and neat. I am really very impressed. I was at the rehabilitation to do assessment for two of the individuals that plan to move to our Assisted living community, and the staffs were really available to give me detailed information and very supportive. The therapists both OT and PT were so excited for every achievement or progress shown by the patient. I like the water fall on the wall at the entrance to the community. St. E
Greetings, my name is Steve and I am the husband of a current Patient at St. Elizabeth Nursing and Rehabilitation. My first impression I had when I turned on to the driveway of the facility; to my amazement, I saw no trash on the property. The grounds had majestic trees spaced and the grounds were well maintained and trimmed. The property looked like a park. When I arrived on campus, it too was clean with no trash. When I approached the building, I was met by two electric locked doors. Entry was controlled by a receptionist in the lobby. Now, once in the lobby, I observed a extremely clean, polish floor. Cleanliness through out the facility is consistent. The big shock were the employees I approached. Most if not all would say “Hi or Hello” if not, when I said “Hi or Hello” they al
I love the rehab. The rehab is very helpful in many ways. It starts with a good morning and you know when you will have your therapy. You go downstairs to therapy and everyone is smiling, they let you know how they can help you and give you an explanation of what we will do in therapy. They are teaching me to walk and have my left leg and right leg get reunited. This is the right place for me to be here at St. Elizabeth. Yes, I’ve been to therapy before, but this one right here is the one that people need to come to. They will help you, laugh with you and there is always someone there for you.
I was here after open heart surgery morales 8 wksx. All staff were very professional and helpful . Everything was discussed and set up for me o go home. Physical therapy were determined get me back together even though my waking is a little off. The only problem was that I was to be on a heart healthy diet and thar was not available until my next to last day. My daughter would bring me dinners to assist with my diet. The admission coordinator and the social workers set up everything for my discharge . I hope I will not have a condition that I must return but I knewon this place from being a nurse in the past andco chose ere forrmy car and I am gland thankful I did Thank you so much.
If your loved one develops an infection, make sure you stay on top of it and ask the doctor or nurse practitioner to retest. I was told my mother didn’t have an infection after she had already been given 5–7 days of antibiotics, without any retesting. More than once, I was told she couldn’t have an infection because the antibiotic she was on was “very strong” and would have taken care of everything. I trusted them, and I regret that. When my mother’s condition didn’t improve, I kept pushing and asking about the infection. Only then did they order a full set of tests. By the time the results came back, she had to be transported to the ER for difficulty breathing and an elevated heart rate. While waiting for the ambulance, she was given another antibiotic shot. Also, do not expect any symp
