St. Barnabas Hospital

I wanted to say thank you to Ms. Ashley and to Ms. Terrell from the 4th fl at St. Barnabas for their wonderful support with helping my son that's on the autism spectrum with his ultrasound. These 2 ladies went above and beyond to make him comfortable. Thank you both for treating my son with dignity and much compassion! Thank you to the anesthesiologist and her team as well. Please consider giving these wonderful women a raise! Many thanks from an autism mommy!

This was the worst hospital experience I have ever had. 0 stars of possible ! I am asthmatic, and weather and allergies sometimes trigger severe asthma attacks. Because my home is being renovated, I am currently staying with my brother in the Bronx. I was advised to stay away from the renovation due to my asthma. Unfortunately, I experienced a full asthma attack and had to call an ambulance. The EMTs were excellent and asked which hospital I normally go to, but I was struggling to breathe , not from around here and just needed the nearest hospital. After arriving, I was given an initial treatment and then placed near the entrance and left there for four hours. At one point, I believed my nebulizer medication had run out after about 40 minutes. SBH...if I had to write from the beginning of my son's stay. The review ill be very long. I will not in my opinion recommend this hospital even if I had an minor earache. My experience with staff from medical students, nurses, aids, and down to housekeeping. This place is gross. 35 days in the hospital. No one comes to clean the bathroom if you don’t ask to get your bedding change don't press your luck. Dirty floors and soil gauze from the night before remain I the floor, toilet bowl urine rim stains, walls with holes exposing plaster, and lazy nurses with this annoyed look on their faces. Think about it if it was your love one there nurses would you want your family to be treated unprofessional. I had my knee surgery at this hospital. Dr. Sing who performed surgery and his staff were excellent. Nurse assistant Dayc (6th floor)was an amazing caregiver, extraordinary supportive. Very professional when she does something.She gave me a good impression about this great hospital, something to look back and appreciate. All other staff were good too. I have no bad experience with anyone.

I've written a bad review in the past from my other account. But Today 2/17/26 I was in the ER for chest pain. It was so congested and chaotic in there as usual. However, DR J PATEL is an AMAZING Doctor. Very proactive, compassionate and patient. I haven't seen a doctor like her in years. Honestly the entire staff was great starting from triage. I was surprised and relieved at the same time. I HAD TO GIVE CREDIT WHEN ITS DUE. GOOD JOB ST BARNABAS 👏🏾. Although I HATE ALL HOSPITALS, St Barnabas is always my first choice over Lebanon and Lincoln!
