If you're experiencing an emergency and can reach another hospital, please consider doing so and avoid this facility if possible. As soon as I walked into the ER, I was treated as if I was just trying to get drugs, and when I asked for a specialist for a known issue, I could only get an ER resident that talked to me for about five minutes and then left. Whenever I requested a second conversation with her, she would simply relay her responses via a medical assistant instead of visiting my room. Then, at some point, they completely forgot about me, and it wasn't until they brought another patient in that they realized I was still there and finally gave me my discharge papers. While in the waiting room, I noticed blatant racism from the medical staff toward minority patients. Patients dealing

I was transferred to St. Anthony's Hospital from an SSM ER for overnight observation. When I arrived, the hospital staff was sensitive to the physical pain that brought this elder to their floor. Within minutes, Jeremiah answered my requests for apple juice, an ice pack, and an extra blanket. The overnight stay ended two days later. China, a nurse who had kept tabs on my progress was a gem. There are others I long to mention, but their names I cannot recall. However, I will never forget the skilled efforts of each. I close with one last Bravo. Dr. Vogel, the hospital doctor, proved to be a dandy. In the course of three days he made me smile, then cringe in a moment of tough love, and made sure I left St. Anthony's Hospital with a heartfelt prayer. It gave me the resolve I needed to face im

I was miserably cold the whole time I was there. I even asked them to move me to another room because cold air was blowing out out of the vents. The room they moved me and that room was also cold. The nurses had jackets on because they were also cold. Nursing care was good the first nurse I had was excellent she was very attentive and explained things which was appreciated. They have to do something about the heat whether construction is going on or not. Also would help to have a blanket warmer on the floor. Have you ever heard that being warm and cozy heals . I was blowing my hot air in my hands under my 4 blankets to warm my hands. Please take care of this problem I don’t want to ever go back and it has nothing to do with the care I had because it was great! Thanks

My husband was in there for a week this. I will say all the nurses were ok except for Tracy I would ask her questions she would not even answer me PERIOD!!!! I ask her to show me on the machine where his oxygen level was and nurse Tracy she pointed I had to bite my tongue and she needs to learn to communicate with families and stop acting like it P her off. She sure does not need to be around people at all she needs to go to communicate school. All others was very helpful thank goodness I asked her for a egg crate for his bed she never did bring it so I really hope someone talks to her I could go on and on but that was my problem with this hospital he was in room pav 208 so hopefully it gets better

My aunt was in SSM St. Anthony hospital. It is the worst hospital she has ever been in. The only part of the hospital that actually cared was ICU. If I was only rating ICU I would give them a five star review. Unfortunately the rest of the hospital in my opinion just don't care. Nurses didn't answer the call button. Family members when contacted the Nurses station got hung up on. There was several days when my aunt called the cafeteria. They told her she couldn't have what she ordered. They would bring her something she could have. However she wasn't given anything to ear for two days. When discharged and brought home by sooner care. The hospital provided no discharged paperwork or instructions to the family member who takes care of my aunt or to her primary doctor, home health nurse or ho
