I took my son here for an ear ache. Explained to them that he had been dealing with congestion for over a week and he was complaining about his ear hurting. Came in 2/23 to have my son’s ear checked in the evening. Everyone was friendly. However the nurse practitioner that checked his ear stated there was fluid but wouldn’t treat it bc in her opinion it wasn’t infected. My son whimpered and cried all night. Took him to his actual doctor the next day. They said he had a lot of pus in his ear and it was indeed infected. They mentioned that the NP at this urgent care should have seen it. I’ve always had great experiences here but unfortunately time and money was wasted during this visit. My son had to suffer all night bc I was listening to what I thought was a medical expert. I would recomme

I had an extremely frustrating experience at SSM Urgent Care that completely defeats the purpose of an “urgent” care facility. When someone seeks urgent care, the expectation is that patients will be seen in a timely manner based on medical need. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. Despite arriving for urgent care, patients with scheduled appointments were prioritized ahead of everyone else, leaving walk-in patients waiting indefinitely. After already being there for a significant amount of time, a sign was posted stating there was a 2+ hour wait, which is completely unreasonable for a facility advertising urgent care services. If the system is designed so that appointments take priority and walk-ins are essentially pushed to the back of the line, that should be made clear before pa

I would have given our urgent care experience a full 5 stars if the urgent care registrar wasn't a little rude in the beginning. Our experience with registration did end up going better further into our encounter and by the time we left, seemed much better. We did also have an issue with checking in for our reserved UC appointment and then checking in as a walk-in patient, but this was resolved. As for the medical staff, all 3 staff members- MA/TECH, RN and NP were fantastic. They were each kind, patient, gentle, understanding and informative. I had some iffy concerns after reading some previous reviews, but I can confidently say that if I need to, I would bring my children here again for urgent care services.

Will NEVER be back. I drove 30 minutes and arrived at 9:23. When I walked in there was no staff in the lobby. After some time of standing there the front desk person walked out of the bathroom. Did not say hi-she only said we aren’t taking anymore patients in a very unempathetic and cold tone. I explained that I thought they closed at 10. Her response was “Yep. But we aren’t taking anymore patients”. I was there 40 minutes before close and only two cars in the parking lot. Sounds like very poor practice from an organization that brags about patient centered care. I could have taken this interaction better if the staff was nicer and not so RUDE. There was not even any concern for my child and what urgent situation we were experiencing. Staff would barely even make eye contact wi

I have 3 kids so we frequent this place especially in the cold/flu season. The nurses and NP’s are always really nice. My biggest complaint is the front desk workers. I have never met a nice, friendly, welcoming one. They are ALWAYS rude. Now they won’t tell you if they have “reached capacity” over the phone. Tonight I arrived at 9pm (they close at 10pm) just for the rude front desk staff to inform me that they “reached capacity” and my child couldn’t be seen. I had to take 3 kids up there, waste my gas over something that could have been shared over the phone. I called twice prior to going up there. There are no other urgent cares open at this hour so now my son has to wait until morning to be treated. How do the rudest workers even pass their interviews? Hire some friendly customer servi
