Spring Lake Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation

Don’t be fooled by this place! The facility looks amazing however the employees are TERRIBLE, with the exception of a very FEW! I was so pleased with how the facility looked I fought to get my grandmother there, that was a HUGE MISTAKE! They were so attentive to her needs at first but once all paperwork was done….PATIENT OR FAMILY CONCERNS WERE NO LONGER ADDRESS! A lady (CNA) didn’t know that she was on camera in my grandmother’s room, who’s mentally altered, and spoke to her very RUDELY stating “I’m not in the mood today.” The workers obviously use this place as their daycare at night because their kids run all over the place. My grandmother has since left and they STOLE all her things including the camera we bought to monitor her all the way down to her DENTURES!!!! They talk a good game

My neighbor was in there spoke highly of this facility about the skill therapist they are very nice and good . She stated that caregiver most are nice but their are a few ones don’t wear their name tags that wasn’t kind yo her. She stated some needs training and to learned how to treat older people. Staff wearing their name should be required due to this reason. She said the nurse that pass medication is amazing.

Everyone there staff and residences are extremely nice the place is super clean. The building is ran properly but most importantly the residences have fun time having activities to do.

Can’t say enough good things about the skilled nursing and physical therapy. We landed here after moving from another state. From the moment my husband arrived we have both been treated with kindness and professionalism. After four weeks there is a significant improvement. He has been able to move back home. We continue to come back for the out patient physical therapy which is top notch. Our social worker even helped us establish with a PCP.

Stay here if you want to die. My sister had a uti & was in the hospital. After the uti was cleared up she went to springlake for rehab just to regain her strength. She was very weak. Instead of getting stronger, they left her in bed until she had stage 4 bed sores and blisters on her feet from never cleaning her feet or changing her socks. She couldn't feed herself. They brought her meals and would leave the food until the next meal, then pick up the untouched food tray. Didn't help feed her. Family had to feed her when they could visit. The Dog Pound probably treats the animals better than this lazy staff
