Spira Care Lee's Summit

Our entire family goes to spiracare and loves it! I see Stephanie Betsworth, my husband sees Dr. Michael Duke, and my daughter established with Dr. Dresvyanninov (Dr. Dress) today. I wanted to give her a shout out because she was FABULOUS with our 3 year old!! I was a little hesitant switching my daughter to someone who wasn’t a pediatrician but am super happy with our choice. Thanks Dr. Dress and crew!!

Communication is terrible. I called to set up a same day appointment at 8 am on a Monday. Was transferred to the nurse voicemail to do that. At 1:00 p.m. I called back to find out if I would be able to in fact get a same day appointment the nurse told me that she was waiting to hear back from the doctor. Called back again at 4:30pm to express my concern that I had not heard anything back all day and was told that the office was closed and had been closed all day. I would have appreciated if they would have told me I could have scheduled somewhere else or simply had told me that the office was closed that day. I honestly do not feel like this office takes the patience concerns seriously otherwise they would have communicated much better.

Stephanie Botsworth is my NP and she has been such a kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, active listener. I enjoy my visits with her due to my needs being met each time, her flexibility, and the personalized care that she provides.

In November I ended up starting a new job not knowing if Spira Care would be an option. I made them aware of that, by the time I made them aware I had ZERO access to my portal, kept calling to see if I could move my appointment out just to be on the safe side if I did end up having spira care insurance again. I was told, “you probably won’t have spira care so we’ll just cancel everything”. I felt that was very disrespectful and staff didn’t even let me know I would lose access to everything. I just felt that was rude. The nurse practitioner could’ve at least called and told me something .

I have been extremely pleased with Spira Care in Lee's Summit. Each member of the staff has been wonderful. Facility was clean and up to date. I feel as though I have made more headway in my healthcare this year by leaps and bounds. Communication has also been spectacular.
