Spicewood Veterinary Clinic

Brought my two golden retrievers in to establish care ... they both were asleep on the floor at one point - that has never happened (usually they both are anxious at a vet and want to get in my lap). Both Dr. Bates and her assistant were great and my dogs were very comfortable with them. Everything was explained well. Probably the best vet experience I've had in years!

By far one of the best vets I’ve been to. Side note - for anyone in Houston, I highly recommend EaDo Veterinary Clinic (that’s where I took my dogs before moving to Austin & they’re just as good as Spicewood Vet Clinic). I started taking my dogs to Spicewood vet when I first moved out to Spicewood 3 years ago. Everyone that works there is so friendly and helpful. They’ve always been great and took amazing care of my dogs, but what really did it for me (and ultimately led me to write this review) was Dr. Jenn and vet tech, Draeton. They’re both so wonderful! Dr. Jenn is extremely attentive and responsive. She always takes the time to answer all of my MANY questions & offers advice as if they were her own dogs. Great experience with Spicewood Vet Clinic. Dr. Bennett went above and beyond when my puppy broke her leg. From the consult through surgery and recovery, the entire team was incredibly thoughtful, communicative, and supportive. I always felt informed and genuinely cared for. I’m very grateful for the compassion and dedication they showed especially around the holidays.

I have never had a bad experience here...& most importantly neither has my dog. Jenn was our vet this weekend & she was FABULOUS! She even remembered us from a prior visit although it had been quite some time. The vet tech was AMAZING with my dog as well! So thankful they could see my dog on a Saturday!! A true Godsend!

The most compassionate staff and calming atmosphere of any vet clinic we've visited. They really help with the anxiety surrounding a sick pet along with giving excellent care.
