We are so lucky to have found Karen for speech therapy for my son. We started speech therapy when my son was 2 yo and practically nonverbal. Through the years he has made such an improvement and at 7yo now we can have full conversations. Not only has his speech improved, but so has his social skills. Karen makes these sessions so fun and engaging, my son loved when it was speech day. Karen has made such a big impact on our lives, we are forever grateful for her. I would recommend Karen to anyone who is looking for a kind, caring, patient, loving, fun, engaging, understanding and just awesome speech therapist for their child.

Karen worked with our daughter Nour on her speech delay from the time she was 19 months old until she was nearly 36 months old. From the first phone call, we knew we'd found the right person to work with. In the initial call, she took the time to ask thorough, informed questions about Nour, and gave us an incredibly honest assessment, which my wife and I really appreciated. Karen came to our home every week and spent time with Nour, bringing different toys/materials each time, and at the end of each session, she spoke with us about how it went, and where Nour was making progress, and we should work on with her during the week between sessions. Before meeting Karen, I had spoken to a couple of other speech therapists who told me it may take over a year to correct son’s rhotacism and that we should get started asap. Karen had a very different approach. She suggested to us that we start at a slightly later stage where our child’s learning ability and patience level was optimal. We took her advice and waited another half year to start. Once we began therapy, we started seeing results after 3 sessions and after just a few months, our son is able to make all of his R sounds. We were blown away by the speed of our son’s progress. Beyond that, Karen made the sessions fun and interesting for him. I can't say enough great things about our speech therapist. Karen was so patient and effective, and our kid actually looked forward to her sessions because she made it so fun and chill. It was amazing how she used games and creative activities to get our child to open up, and we started seeing real results so fast! I highly recommend speech therapist Karen Watson. Our daughter has been lucky to have a very productive speech guide for the past five months. At age 3, she has come such a long way and is now saying some verbs, adjectives, numbers, colors, and more. Her language expression has also boosted social interactions and Karen gives positive reinforcement on all fronts.
