Special Care Obgyn

Every time I call the phone is answered with a very rude and unprofessional “Hello?” It never fails. On top of that when you come into the office to check it you feel no sense of welcome from the front desk lady what so ever. I have been going here since for years. Dr.E delivered me herself but you wouldn’t even know she exists even though she is my primary I am never able to see her. My mom even had to switch OBGYN because the wait times and the misdiagnosis she received for well over at least 9 years. My birth control has been refilled with the wrong type two times in a row even after being shown a picture and name of the correct one. The wait times are absolutely ridiculous. Absolutely loved Dr Murphy…. She is beautiful inside and out and you can tell she loves her job!! She explained everything to a tee was very gentle and caring actually and that was such a fresh breathe of air!! She didn’t rush you she listened.. she was amazing!! I’ll be back for sure, she’s my Gyno now definitely!!

The wait times are insane, and the excuses that follow are predictable and annoying. As a patient with infertility struggles I would not recommend this place. Doctors just want to prescribe birth control instead of offering anything else that would actually aid in getting pregnant. When I refused I was told I would be talked to again to “get on board” I’m getting on board finding another doctor instead.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt called to share this because the care I’ve received here has truly touched my heart. From the moment I step into this office, I feel warmth, kindness, and genuine compassion. Every single person I’ve interacted with has made me feel seen, supported, and cared for during one of the most emotional and vulnerable times of my life. Dr. Murphy means more to me than I can put into words .she has been a source of comfort, strength, and peace. There were moments I came into my appointments feeling scared, overwhelmed, and full of emotion, and she met me with patience, understanding, and kindness that I will never forget. Although the OBs are very nice and caring. Their staff is rude and for the past 5 years has told me I owe them money the day before my appointment. I have asked them numerous times to notify me of these payments a week in advance which the lady on the phone said they do, but they call me 2 days before a stressful surgery. They need to do better at their teams communication skills. It’s a part of their job.
